Land Information Service

A New Dimension In Obtaining Land Information On The Net

Launching a new land information service which can be called the Land Information Service (LIS) can benefit our government because it will impact many sector of the community, may it the bank which is more encouraged to extend loans or law offices verifying it's veracity.  LIS is an Internet-based system that uses the latest web technology to bring map and textual land information to you via Internet. It offers a one-stop information service by integrating selected aspects of land information from the Registry of Titles, Land Office and Survey Department. The information is useful for lawyers, developers, property agents, valuers, architects, land surveyors, banks and members of the public.

LIS is the first system to combine GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology and E-commerce technology to enable interactive digital maps tagged with land information to be delivered to any Internet user, who has a card reader and a cashcard or a Internet Trust ready smart card.

Reliable Information at the Touch of a Button

You can access LIS for information on land tenure, area, ownership, encumbrances and the last transacted price (if available) for registered lots which have been computerised under the Registry of Titles' computerised registration system called STARS.

You can also use the graphical overview map of City, Provinces to get a cadastral map of a land lot or a locality map. Users are able to print colour maps in various paper sizes ranging from A4 to A0. The printing of the maps can be done at your office or home, or remotely at Survey Department (self-collection) for larger paper sizes. You will need a plotter for prints larger than A3 size.

You can pay for LIS charges by cash card or credit card. Payment by credit card is recommended for corporate users as the organisation can track LIS usage. If you want to make payment by cash card, you only need a card reader and cash card. No registration with LIS is required. If you want to make payment by other options, you will need a card reader, a smartcard with a Internet trust Digital Certificate, registration with LIS and application for corporate credt card can be made thru their banks.

Ideal for visually demanding applications including CAD and document imaging, Cornerstone displays also provide a more comfortable and productive work environment for the everyday user as well. Venture on and explore all there is to know about display ergonomics and the incredible advantages of Cornerstone high performance.

Also the technology is applicable with insurance companies, where actual piture of an accident can be scanned, sent to the remote home office state and then download it to a server forafterwards   viewing by an adjuster.
